Hello My Fellow Fur Parents!
As my position at Dingo’s grows, I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself, or re-introduce myself, as not only the General Manager here at Dingos, but also the newly appointed, in-house Dog Trainer! I have spent the past eighteen months ensuring Dingo’s runs seamlessly whilst at the same time studying to become a certified professional dog trainer through Catch Canine Trainers Academy.
Like most people in this industry, I have had a love for animals since I was a child. My dad always thought I would become a veterinarian but as I got older, I realized that my love for animals was mostly directed towards dogs. And while I had many special family dogs in my life growing up, my interest in training did not develop until the summer of 2018 when I got my first French Bulldog: Luna.
I always wanted a dog of my own but I did not realize how much work a puppy was until I brought Luna home! As a novice owner, I made some mistakes with Luna. Now armed with a training certificate and a degree from Catch, I hope to spare my future clients from some of the common pitfalls many new puppy owners make whilst at the same time sharing with you all the joys of this special time in a dog’s life.
I am so excited to begin sharing the knowledge I have gained over the past year and a half in order to help families and their dogs not only survive the puppy stage, but thrive in it.
